Made from a woven cotton with scalloped edges. The blouse buttons up the front with large carved mother of pearl buttons. shorts zip up the back with a metal zip. The maker was a hospitality major who owned several KFC restaurants in Western North Carolina with her husband. She enjoyed hosting guests at her three store home overlooking Beaver Lake in Asheville. There is an additional set in this online museum that was also made by her.
