Late 40s early 50s handmade set made from a soft celery green wool. Both the blouse and shorts button up the back with small shell buttons. The maker was a hospitality major who owned several KFC restaurants in Western North Carolina with her husband. She enjoyed hosting guests at her three store home overlooking Beaver Lake in Asheville. There is an additional set in this online museum that was also made by her. The set has been repaired in matching thread where there were lots of moth nibbles.
