This sweater was hand knit in the Appalachian mountains in a North Carolina town called Mills River. We were lucky enough to connect with friends of the original owner and buy her collection of handmade garments. She was an avid seamstress who was active in her community and was making her own clothes from an early age.
A very pretty wool sweater with a fuzzy trim!
Materials:Wool with an angora rabbit trim. Classic cropped fit.
Condition:Overall great shape, has some spots and the wool is felted under the armpits.

All garments have been cleaned prior to arriving at your doorstep. We use biodegradable detergent and other methods of cleaning that are gentle on vintage and the earth. We provide an estimated modern size equivalent, however the best way to ensure proper fit is to measure either yourself or a similar garment in your wardrobe.
